Performance Reviews: Should we or Shouldn’t we?

Regardless of what side of the performance fence you are on, whether you are using a traditional annual review process or are doing something less traditional, we all can agree that a culture of coaching is critical. We will review best practices with the performance process, and practice applicable tools in this high energy session geared towards leaders in HR.

This program will provide training on the performance process facilitated by Dale Carnegie Training’s General Manager, Mike Scott, and will also highlight a panel of local HR leaders, talking about and answering questions on their philosophies for performance management, giving examples of what has and has not worked for them, and offering their visions for the future of HR around performance management and innovations in this area.

Please join us for this fun and informative event, with plenty of time for networking and idea sharing!  Appetizers and beverages will be provided.

2. Elevate your process- how do performance reviews fit in to your overall talent operating system?

Mike Scott is the general manager of Dale Carnegie Training in the North Central States. Dale Carnegie Training is represented in all 50 of the United States and more than 80 nations worldwide.

Besides training an astounding 1,000 people per year with Dale Carnegie Training, Mike addresses a variety of mission-critical leadership and development needs for the firm’s Fortune 500 clients. At the enterprise level, his areas of expertise include workplace collaboration, leadership without authority and in cross-functional/matrix organizations, HR/business alignment, organizational redesign and change readiness. At the individual level, Mike is adept at training needs analysis, talent management, leadership presence training, employee engagement, executive coaching, and presentation skills development.

Parking & Directions

Our November Program will be located on the concourse level of the 3600 Building of the Northland Center. Please note that the Northland Center has two identical buildings - the 3500 and 3600 Building. Park in the 3600 building lot and take the elevator or stairs to the concourse level in the 3600 Building. Follow the TCSHRM signs to the room from there.
