December Webinar: Lessons Learned from Virtual Workplace Early Adopters

Please join Kathy Kacher, President of Career/Life Alliance Services and cofounder of The SMART Workplace AND Trina Hoefling, master teacher at University of Denver, cofound of The SMART Workplace and author of Working Virtually; Transforming the Mobile Workplace. They will talk about the top 5 lessons learned while helping organizations adapt to the virtual workplace.

 

The virtual world of work has seeped into our lives over the past 15+ years, and many of us have not had (or taken) the time to understand the impact that working virtually has on the organization, the team and the individual. We have all just gone with the flow, adapting as we need to when a new technology or process comes along. During this interactive session, Kathy and Trina share the lessons they have learned, along with solutions that organizations need be intentional and successful as the way we work changes.

 

Speakers:

Kathy Kacher

Kathy founded Career/Life Alliance Services (CLAS) in 1987, an organization dedicated to workforce transformation through the development and integration of workplace mobility, flexibility and work life integrations.  CLAS has developed world class tools and trainings which have been deployed within numerous fortune 500 companies. Co-founder of The SMART Workplace in 2016, an organization that develops and delivers relational and leadership competency training for the digitally-driven workplace. Co-author of the National Workplace Flexibility Study and several popular workforce engagement tools, which include the nation’s first workplace flexibility guidance and tracking system, virtual employee benefits fair and a variety of online training tools. Kathy is also a faculty member with World at Work, a professional human resources association, delivering training in Organizational Culture Change and Workplace Flexibility Strategy Development. A frequently requested speaker and presenter, who has been featured at prominent industry events around the world and featured on local morning shows, Minnesota Public Radio, the Star and Tribune, Pioneer Press, and Employee Benefit News. Kathy is an organizational expert, content developer and workshop facilitator.

Trina Hoefling

Trina Hoefling has been transforming the workplace virtually since providing remote management training in 1984. She believes that “Technology is the enabler, but People are the key.” An organization development and transformational change consultant, strategic facilitator, coach and virtual team engagement expert, she is author of Working Virtually: Transforming the Mobile Workplace, 2ndEd, released in March 2017.

 

Trina is an accomplished thought leader with passion for helping people and organizations grow, and co-founder of www.theSmartWorkplace.com and www.VirtualWorkplaceUniversity.com, a learning portal for workplace competence in the mobile work world.Virtual Workplace University just released Trina’s first on-demand course in her Virtual Leadership Essentials series based on Working Virtually and an early adopter of virtual work and online learning.
