Teri Calderon 



Teri Calderon, EVP of People Operations at Field Nation
Teri Calderon is the EVP of People Operations at Field Nation, a Minneapolis-based company that is changing the way to source, engage and manage the on-site contingent workforce.

An executive with more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Calderon enjoys pushing the boundaries of her craft in order to come up with innovative but simple strategies to tackle today’s complex talent management problems.  As an ambassador for an award-winning company culture, Calderon is dedicated to aligning talent management programs with organizational goals in order to increase engagement, decrease turnover, improve productivity and achieve growth goals.

Before Field Nation, Calderon was the SVP of Human Resources at Atterro Human Capital Group where she created innovative talent management programs which resulted in higher employee engagement and reduced total company turnover by 30 percent.

On a personal note, Calderon is a working mother of two and cherishes time spent with her husband, two sons and two pet dogs. Passionate about education, Calderon serves as a Trustee for the Foundation at Metropolitan State University.

Inside Scoop: Employer’s Perspective on the Hiring Process

Through this interactive case study, students get an insider’s perspective on the hiring process.  Students are taken through 6 steps in the hiring process while learning important lessons for their job search along the way.  They learn resume tips, how to customize their resume, how to make their application stand out, the importance of networking, navigating assessments & background checks, salary negotiations, and how to navigate the offer process.

 



Audra Emerson, Career Prep LLC
Audra Emerson is a passionate advocate for early career development. With over 20 years of Recruiting and Human Resources experience she has helped thousands of people establish and advance their careers at top start-ups and Fortune elite companies. Her breadth of experience crosses financial services, retail, technology and manufacturing industries with clients such as Target, Russell Investments, US Bank, Ameriprise, Allianz and more. 
As co-founder of CareerPrep, Audra’s recruiting expertise is used to help young professionals build their brand, network, and excel at every stage of the hiring process.  Audra is a first generation college student and has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota.  She is a frequent speaker on topics including LinkedIn, Inside Scoop on the Hiring Process, Finding Your Fit, Relationship Building, and Salary Negotiations.  Audra brings her passion for sports and developing women leaders to her board position with the EGAA (Edina Girls Athletic Association).

 


 



Sara Wegmann, Career Prep LLC

As co-founder of CareerPrep, Sara Wegmann is a powerful guide for emerging careers.  She’s passionate about coaching, guiding, and teaching young professionals as they navigate their early careers.  Sara brings extensive experience in talent development from top companies such as Deloitte, Target, and Merrill Lynch to help coach and train young professionals as they launch and build their careers.

 As an HR leader Sara has interviewed countless candidates, coached employees on job changes and career transitions, and helped leaders and managers assess talent and make hiring decisions. She has also led the development of mentoring, training, and leadership development programs for leaders and new hires at Fortune 500 companies. Sara has been passionate about career coaching since working at the Career Center at Lawrence University. Her specialties include helping young professionals effectively build their brand and networks, student athlete career development, and developing young women leaders.  Sara has a B.A. in Psychology from Lawrence University and an MBA in HR and Management and Organizations from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
