Communication on a Stick: How to Communicate With Just About Anyone Without Getting Fried!

Taking the time to understand the different behaviors of people is the key to effective communication. What better place than the Great Minnesota Get-Together to discover how to communicate more effectively.


This is an experiential program You will:

  • Recognize, understand and appreciate others
  • Learn how to adapt your style for effective communication
  • Develop a plan to put key learnings into action at work
  • Have fun!


Communicating more effectively will enable you to achieve greater results in both your personal and professional life while reducing misunderstandings and stress. No need to get ‘fried’ anymore!

Regina Barr is a former marketing executive and Founder and CEO of Red Ladder, Inc., and founder of the Women at the Top® Network. Regina helps organizations manage transitions, complete major projects, build strong teams and develop leadership talent. In the corporate sector, Regina is a well-known consultant, coach, trainer and professional speaker with over two decades of leadership experience. For over a decade, Regina has traveled the United States extensively, educating and inspiring men and women to dream big, take action and “make things happen.” A writer and media commentator who holds master’s degrees in business administration (MBA) and human development (MA), her work has appeared in several magazines and her leadership column has been read in more than seven countries. Regina currently resides in Inver Grove Heights, MN, with her husband and one fun loving dog.

Directions & Parking

Please park in Robin Lot or Owl Lot. Vehicle parking in State Fair lots is $15 (cash only) and is paid for as you enter the gate to park. Owl Lot is the closest lot to the Pavilion. 


OR you may take a park-and-ride to the Transit Hub. Please note that all park-and-rides do not go to the Transit Hub, click here to confirm which rides arrive at this location and gate.
