August Webinar: It’s Time to Take Control of Your Current Career Situation and Identify Your Motivation Through the Five MotiCodes

In this time of uncertainty, more than ever it can feel like we have a loss of control and it is hard to stay engaged and motivated. CareerMoti and the five MotiCodes are designed to help you identify ways you can take control of your current career situation. How do I stay motivated to work? How do I stay motivated to look for my next career in this time of uncertainty? You are not alone in asking these questions and this assessment and platform will help lead you to some small shifts you can make today.

Discover your individual career motivation (MotiCode) and get the tools to ask for what you need in your career to stay happy and healthy in a job you love. Whether you are currently employed or in your job search, this is a great webinar to gain wisdom to better align your motivation and career.

Attendees will learn:

  • The 5 different Motivational codes (MotiCodes) and how they show up at work
  • Identify own personal MotiCode
  • How to reflect and recognize on what you did and didn’t like in your past work experiences and using that as your compass in your job search
  • How your motivational preferences (MotiCode) can help you navigate your job search and identify ideal target companies and organizations
  • For managers: a better understanding of how to motivate team members based on their individual MotiCode for higher engagement and retention

You'll receive a FREE assessment to discover your MotiCodes prior to the webinar.

Which will spark your career?

You want to know your daily work is tied to the results/mission of the organization. You desire a seat at the table. At the core you are motivated by having influence. You crave a company culture that consistently shows care for the team and where workers spend time together. You value feedback, particularly when positive. At the core this feedback signals to you that you are on the right track. You ultimately want to know your earnings are tied to your effort and results.

Maggie Tomas

Hello! I’m Maggie, the creator of CareerMoti. I have been career coaching students and a wide range of professionals for nearly 2 decades. Currently, I lead the University of Minnesota’s graduate business career center, am a mom of 2 energetic girls, and am passionate about making the community a better place. A thriving community needs workers who are motivated and healthy. My mission is to help everyone figure out how to be healthy and happy at work. In my years of working with hundreds of clients, I have discovered that often career dissatisfaction is not due to a functional or industry mismatch but rather a misalignment in motivation. In getting to the heart of what motivated people in career, I have seen that there are 5 distinct motivational types (or codes) that often drive our satisfaction at work. I created the MotiCode assessment and framework to help professionals easily identify their motivational type. It’s amazing to see how using the MotiCode framework and the CareerMoti tools can significantly increase satisfaction levels in clients once they discover how they are motivated and then make small shifts at work to align motivation. I built CareerMoti, and the assessment MotiCodes, to bring this message to organizations to help with employee retention, well-being, and overall engagement at work. We all deserve to be happy in our careers. Understanding your motivational type is the first step.
