December Webinar: The Resilient HR Professional: research-based insights and tips to grow your resilience

Every industry and position are impacted by an ever-changing business environment, whether caused by technology, globalization, COVID-19, or other events and developments. It’s likely that you are in a demanding role with high-stakes projects, deliverables, and relationships. Examples of circumstances that you may recognize are taxing workloads, remote meetings, collaboration on multi-cultural teams with different expertise and personalities, organizational changes small and large, emotion-loaded conversations, and combining work with family life while you also might be facing health or other concerns. Needless to say: resilience is no luxury in this context. Resilience can be defined as your ability, when exposed to a potentially highly disruptive event, to maintain healthy psychological and physical functioning. Resilience is about bouncing back well and timely when you face setbacks. It can be strengthened by applying a variety of strategies that help you recover well when misfortunes hit you and that help maintain positive thoughts and emotions while you’re in the midst of it.

This engaging and practical webinar will provide you with insights and tips to:
  • Adopt a mindset that helps you bounce back from setbacks psychologically and behaviorally.
  • Apply 6 things that resilient HR professionals do differently, based on insights from the Mayo Clinic, the Stress & Resilience Institute, Deloitte Insights and others
  • Learn about daily practical strategies from experts such as Stanford’s psychologist Carol Dweck and Dr. Martin Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania Resilience Program.
