2024 TCSHRM Volunteer of the Year Award
Sara Bojan-Wood
| | Award Description Recipients of this award go above and beyond in their volunteer role and contribute to the overall success of the organization! Sara is an experienced, support-focused leader with accomplishments spanning more than 25 years. Drawing from her experience in Payroll, Operations, Sales, and HR, she builds and cultivates strong relationships to provide data and recommendations to deliver on critical business objectives. With an emphasis on building relationships, Sara takes a member-centric, solution-based approach in all she does in her role as a Member Relations Manager at MRA.

2024 TCSHRM Mentor of the Year Award
Brandi Adelmann

Award Description
We believe in the power of mentoring and how it can impact the lives of mentees while advancing the HR profession. We wanted to shine a light on the amazing mentors in our mentoring program and in our HR community.
Brandi has worked in the Human Resources field since 2007 and currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative in Jordan. Brandi’s professional background includes utility and manufacturing industries. In addition to the TCSHRM mentorship program, Brandi volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Project Fairy Godmothers, Dress for Success, the Just Food Cooperative Board and Hosanna Church.

2024 HR Team of the Year Award
Project Pride in Living (PPL)

Award Description
The criteria for the HR Team of the Year Award include:
- Making significant contributions to their organization over the past year within the Human Resources function
- Demonstrating the value of the HR function within the organization through implementation of best practices, organization design and effectiveness and alignment and accomplishment of the strategic direction of the organization
- Having a proven track record of giving back to the HR profession and/or the community
Project for Pride in Living’s mission is to build the hope, assets, and self-reliance of individuals and families who have lower incomes by providing transformative, affordable housing and career readiness services. The PPL Human Resources team is a crucial part of the Talent, Equity, and Culture department.
What a wonderful example of giving back to our community!

2024 Emerging HR Professional of the Year Award

Award Description
This award is for a student pursuing a career in HR or an HR professional within the first 5 years of their HR career who are advancing their own careers by participating in or leading HR initiatives within their school or organization or the local HR community. Award winners are defined as future leaders in the profession who are challenging the status quo or providing HR expertise to advance the profession.
Dana Krueger has a rich history of service and dedication to the Saint Paul Port Authority. With 25 years of diverse experience within the organization, Dana currently serves as the Director of Business overseeing human resources and operations.

2024 Spirit of Twin Cities SHRM Award

This award was created to recognize volunteers who continually volunteer year after year and focus on serving HR professionals in the Twin Cities. They bring their strengths to Twin Cities SHRM and continue to help us raise the bar with innovative strategies
that keep us current and hip while setting trends that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
And the 2024 Spirit of Twin Cities SHRM Award goes to Carley Potter!
Carley has been a volunteer of TCSHRM for over 5 years, serving as a lead on the Programming team, a member of the Emerging Professionals team and joining our High-Potential Volunteer group. She has exemplified the Spirit of TCSHRM by offering referrals for sponsors, speakers, and resources for other TCSHRM teams and events. In her Lead position on the Programming Team, she has made strides to elevate the planning and execution process of our In-Person Programs. She is a strategic thinker who brings ideas, thoughtful feedback and positive energy to every team meeting.

2024 Board Member of the Year Award
Cambria Breitkruetz | | Award Description We currently have the largest board of directors group that TCSHRM has seen in it’s 70-year history with 15 board members! Our board members are crucial to our overall success and spend countless hours volunteering for the organization. Each year we recognize a board member that has gone above and beyond the expectations of their board role and this year’s award recipient does this! Our 2024 Twin Cities SHRM Board Member of the Year award goes to Cambria Breitkruetz, VP of Marketing! Cambria has made a significant impact on our board through her leadership of our marketing team and our DEI strategic initiative. She has elevated our marketing team by digging into Google Analytics and sharing key insights with the board to drive better traffic to our website and social media channels. In leading our strategic DEI initiative, she fostered an environment of collaboration and trust as we evaluated our current practices and where we'd like to go in the future. Beyond that, she leads with positivity, support and encouragement that make her a leader we all want to follow.

Casey has fundamentally shifted the culture at their company by making the Employee Experience department a respected and integral part of the organization. Under his leadership, this team has become a sought-after partner in decision-making,
ensuring that the voices of team members are represented at all levels of strategy. His efforts have built trust and strengthened the company’s reputation for prioritizing the well-being of its employees. Anecdotally, he led
the company through one of the most complex union negotiations in recent years, all while maintaining his composure and focusing on what was best for all employees. Known for his thoughtful listening, engaging directly with
employees across the organization to steer nearly 4,000 individuals in a unified direction
