Spring 2025 Cohort Applications are OPEN!

The TCSHRM Mentoring program partners early career HR professionals with mid-to-senior career HR professionals. The mentor is a great resource for the young professional or someone new to HR that provides coaching and guidance and helps them get connected to other HR professionals.

 

Program Highlights:

• Time commitment of 4-6 meetings over 4 months set up with your paired mentor/mentee
• Provided resources and guides for effective, goal-driven conversations
• Self-assessment and development planning support aligned with SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge

Mentee Benefits:

• Build HR professional network
• Gain a better understanding of specialties/career paths within HR
• Targeted development based on individual specific goals and challenges
• Provides a safe environment to ask questions, discuss concerns and challenges

Mentor Benefits:

• Improved coaching and leadership skills.
• Gain new insights and perspectives from mentee
• Contribute to the local HR community by sharing knowledge and experiences

Mentor/Mentee Requirement:

• Must be a current TCSHRM member
• Mentors must be mid-senior career HR pros
• Mentees must be early career/emerging professionals
