TCSHRM is awards one scholarship to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student seeking a career in Human Resources every year.

Previous recipients are not eligible to apply for the TCSHRM Student Scholarship.

Kelly Ledwein is a Compensation Analyst at Graco, Inc. and previously worked as an HR Generalist at St. Paul Radiology. She is in her 3rd year of the part-time Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business and is specializing in Transformation Change and Organizational Development. Kelly plans to continue to gain experience in total rewards as well as spend time spend time in other HR specialties before she seeks an HR leadership role upon graduation.

Alynda Her is a graduate student in the MA-HRIR program at the University of Minnesota (UMN), Carlson School of Management. Her expected graduation date is May 2019. Through her employment at the International Student & Scholar Services office at the UMN, Alynda discovered a passion for working with individuals from around the world, eventually developing into a desire to serve and assist diversity efforts within Human Resources. After graduation, Alynda is seeking to obtain a role as a consultant in organizational development with an emphasis in Diversity and Inclusion. She hopes to enable organizations to improve diversity efforts as well as make impactful and meaningful connections with their communities.
Mandy Boyle is a senior at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In May 2019, Mandy will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration. She will then relocate to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area to begin her career. Throughout her studies and internships, Mandy has developed a love for Human Resources and a passion for Training and Development. She aspires to become a corporate trainer and adjunct professor. Mandy will utilize her enthusiasm for eLearning and adult learning to aid career development and growth within an organization.

Michaela Birchmeier is a junior at the University of Minnesota. Her expected graduation is May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Business in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Michaela hopes to start a career in human resources after graduation in the Twin Cities area. After one to two years of experience, Michaela would like to go back to school to earn a Master's degree in either human resources or business administration. She is not positive where her passions will lead her, but she is open to all areas of human resources and very excited to start exploring the field after graduation.
Paige Fellows is a senior at the University of St. Thomas. Her expected graduation date is May 2018 with a double major in Human Resource Management and Business Communications. Throughout her studies, she has developed a passion for Human Resources with a special interest in employee relations and talent development. In the future, she would love to add value to a company by becoming a Human Resources Business Partner. The idea of partnering with those in the business to make team members, and the company, successful is exciting to her.
